Vitality London 10000 2018 · 28 May 2018 ·

We brighten the lives of seriously ill young people by granting wishes and providing ongoing support. Our wishes are as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a fireman, meet a real-life mermaid or even the Loch Ness Monster, we work hard to make that wish come true.

Story

To all our friends

I am delighted to announce that Jack, Charlotte, Beth and Sam will be running the Vitality 10k in May in support of our nominated charity, Rays of Sunshine.

Instead of relaxing over the bank holiday weekend the team will be limbering up to run 10k around London and here is why...

There are currently up to 49,000 children living in the UK with a life-limiting illness. This figure is increasing every year and Rays of Sunshine believes that every child deserves to experience happiness and put their illness on hold - even if it is just for one day. Their vision is to make wishes come true and turn them in to happy memories.

Wishes are as unique as the child themselves; whether a child wants to be a princess or a fireman for the day, go to DisneyWorld in Florida, visit Santa in Lapland, own an iPad or meet a favourite celebrity, Rays of Sunshine works hard to make that wish come true, no matter how impossible it may seem.  These are kids that need cheering up against an often dreary outlook in their day to day lives!

The team will are running for this great cause and I do really hope that you will be able to support the charity through these efforts.  I do recognise that you all receive charitable requests on a constant basis, but Rays of Sunshine is an amazing cause and, if only for a few pounds, I hope that you will help the guys out here. Bluebox will match every pound of the first £2,000 raised. I am hoping that we can make a difference to these childrens' lives. Please follow the link below to donate.

A big thank you in advance for all of your support on this.
