The Children's Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF), helps thousands of young people and their families with childhood liver disease day in, day out .
Your fundraising will help in three critical ways:
• Funding innovation, encouraging talent
£20k will fund CLDF’s essential small grants research programme for one year.
• Talk, Tell and Transform …
£10k will allow young people to share their life stories through video
• First Response - Families and Young People Services
£20k will enable young people and their families to have vital information and personal support 24/7.
Why your support is needed…
• Today and every day, at least two children will be diagnosed with a life-threatening liver disease
• Childhood liver disease affects all children of any age; babies, children and young people.
• Liver disease affects more children than childhood leukaemia
• Childhood liver disease has no cure; it means a lifetime of care
CLDF picks up the pieces and makes a difference by…
• Responding immediately to a family’s first needs – information, advice and support
• Helping families to adjust to life with liver disease
• Giving the opportunity to meet other families living with liver disease
• Informing relatives and friends - providing advice and support
• Training healthcare professionals - to spot the early signs and support families
• Providing a young person’s programme
• Running a wide-ranging research programme
By supporting Bluefin’s fundraising activities, you can change children’s lives.
