Gung Ho

Gung ho is done and what a day it was, the bright sun set the tone for a really great day. The young people, carers and colleagues that took part worked so hard to complete the run and in total raised almost £550!

Mud Monsters

We are taking on some new challenges this year and it all starts with our Mud Monsters Run on the 9th of June. Ed, Carlie, Ray, Hayley and some more young people and family members are taking on a range of 5k and 10k distances to prove what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

Every penny you donate will help the lives of young people and will help inspire us over the finish line

2018 update!

This year we are taking on a series of Tough Mudder challenges, starting in August.

Our young people, carers and staff are taking on the challenge of the 10 mile course, to raise money for the Childs i Foundation, pushing ourselves and challenging what we think we are capable of achieving.

Every penny we raise will help us cross that finish line, thank you for your support!

Accredited as a ‘Preferred Provider’ with over 20 Local Authorities in the South of England, we have built an unrivalled reputation for excellence through providing Foster Carers and their families with extensive regular training, 24/7 practical and rapid support, therapeutic and educational advice, and the opportunity to meet with other Foster Carers through regular support groups and social events.

At Blue Sky Fostering we are firm believers of giving something back to the community. As a result, as a organisation, we have actively become increasingly involved in charity work and fundraising. In fact, a staff-run fundraising committee heads the fundraising efforts within the organisation, working closely with Foster Carers, staff and young people.

We proudly support Child's i Foundation. Based in Uganda, Child’s i Foundation works hard with families with the aim to prevent child abandonment in the country. This charity has a transitional home that provides short-term care for babies and young children, whilst Child's i social workers strive to offer support at a high standard, so that every child in their care grows up in a caring and nurturing family.
