Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most of us know someone who has battled with cancer. Whatever the outcome, the support that can be received from your local hospice is invaluable. This support is not just directed and the service user, but their family too. For example, when my Dad finally lost his epic 10 year battle last year, the local hospice was fantastic. They had been fantastic all through his journey. They were also fantastic with us. Living 90 miles from my parents, I was offered the opportunity for bereavement support at St Helena Hospice. I did not use this support, but to see how this network of hospices can work together was a real eye opener. If any money I raise can go towards this service, I would be very, very pleased. So dig deep, think about the pain I will be in! and donate. Thank you.
