Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Neil G, Neil M, Sam and Rebecca all met at their regular Wednesday morning BNI Chapter meetings. TWIGS representative Tori also joined the chapter and has told the guys what a wonderful charity TWIGS is and how they do an amazing job supporting those who struggle with their mental health through craft and garden therapy.

At 5.45am one Wednesday morning, a delirious Neil G was driving to his weekly BNI meeting when he had an idea... because all great ideas are made at 5.45am.....

Neil G told the Chapter his great plan.. he was going to climb 13,500 million trillion feet in a plane, and then throw himself out.

'Wow' thought Neil M, Sam and Rebecca., 'We want a piece of this. Count us in'. Sam was so excited about this, he promptly told his wife Nicola that it was a great plan and not crazy at all and that she should get involved. So she did, and the team was born.

Cue an incredibly ecstatic Tori who was very supportive and told the fabulous 5 she would be with all of them every step of the way and would get involved with whatever they needed and would even go as far as going with them to the airfield... and watch them with 2 feet very firmly on the ground because she's silly - but not that silly.

So everyone, if you could please show your support to these wonderful humans and pledge some money to TWIGS it would be very very much appreciated.

1 in 4 people in the UK will suffer from a mental illness at some stage in their lives. Help TWIGS to support those who need them at their most vulnerable.
