I’m not sure people really understand how much Bo and Jimbo mean to us. That the likes of wobbly head Panel, Kassis on his magic carpet, Holmster and I make the trip along with the “snaking trails of carvans and curses” to make that first step on the journey to Mallorca 2019. 

An endurance event that requires planes, delayed trains, 5 hours wondering around T5, a sober 3 hour Rose lunch with Gaza Stewart, while also tending to an ill wife, prequeled by an over night transatlantic flight with 2 kids under 6 years old - free solo. 

For me it took a tremendous amount of restraint and discipline. Resisting the urge to post on social media when a rock stars pops up on stage to play 2 songs, we all know and love (and 2 others). To not drink a drop. To not chat about business with would be punters or try to hire every bookie I met. To only eat 5 prawns in curry sauce and 2 bowls of jamon and cheese. I would do it all over again for Bo and James. Love you guys! 

Here comes the bit that won’t pull on your heart strings as much Jimbo’s Hungarian speech. Please dig deep and make donations to MMRF an amazing cancer charity. I’ve been raising for these guys for a number of years through multiple marathons and Ironman’s and yes an email seems to come around on an all to regular basis. These guys are saving lives and cancer has hit my family multiple times. I love the work these guys are doing and appreciate every penny you can donate.
