My story 40 years ago gave hope to people around the world fighting cancer. I have dedicated my life to the cause and hope that people will be generous once again and support me on my anniversary walk. I want to do this challenge for the amazing work of the scientists and clinicians the Trust supports and to help find a cure for this indiscriminate disease.

Starting from the hallowed turf of Aintree on 11th April I'm going to walk the distance of 191 miles, representing the 191 days between my cancer diagnosis and being given the all clear, by way of individual walks at relevant stops on route finishing at Findon, Aldaniti's racing home, on 15th May.

I'm really looking forward to this event. I've been walking everyday during lockdown to get fit so I'm ready to get going. I'm aiming, with the support of our wonderful sponsor Wasdell Group, to raise much needed funds for our cancer research programmes.
