Tina had two dreams in life. To sail the world and have her own child.  She did both, competing in a round the world race in 2004 on the winning boat and having a daughter Aanya who is just about to be 6.  She lived every second of every day to give Aanya all the love she could.  Aanya could not have had a better Mum.  Despite having Myotonic Dystrophy she never ever complained of the things she was no longer able to do.  She worked at M&S to the end to provide income so they could live independently

Sadly in the end her heart failed but she lives on in Aanya who is our most precious legacy.  She is so beautiful with endless energy and has already shown the same love for life and people.

Help us to end this genetic condition for all time so that no other parent, sibling child or friend loses someone so dear to their heart.
