I'm taking part in Yeldall's stRIDE FOR RECOVERY challenge in June to help raise funds for their Good Samaritan Fund - enabling men to access rehab and recovery for life. Many guys come to Yeldall unable to raise the funding required - around £5,000. The Good Samaritan Fund covers the bill in such cases. Their backgrounds with drugs and alcohol are many and various, but Yeldall provides an opportunity to kick old habits and make a fresh start, and to deal with some of the issues that led them into addiction. Many of them find a new life and hope for the future.
