The
Bob Scott Rainforest is being created in the Atlantic Rainforests of Misiones Argentina.
The World Land Trust (WLT) has funded a local conservation organisation, Frontera Verde, to make a down payment on an area of 3,764 hectares (9,300 acres) in the corridor between the
Yaboti Biosphere reserve and
Parque do Turbo National Park across the border in Brazil. It is close to the Iguacu Falls and an area Bob knew well.
Bob Scott had supported the World Land Trust from its very begining, and in his career as the Head of Reserves for the RSPB, no one was better placed to know the importance of creating nature reserves.
Learn more about the
Misiones Rainforest Corridor Project on the WLT website. We will also keep this JustGiving page up to date with the latest projects details. If you would like to receive further information about this and the World Land Trust's other projects, please
