This year I am planning to ride my motorbike to Gibraltar in aid of the Love Russia charity and specifically the Genesis Student Support Program which gives 16 year old orphans a two year education on leaving their orphanages. This year there will be eight bikes and a support vehicle so back to the format of 2011 and 2012 with the potential for much more fund raising.  The ride will last six days and cover over 2000 miles!!  Many people were extremely generous in sponsoring my rides over the last three years so please don't give again unless you really want to!  However if you didn't sponsor me last year then please sponsor me now (per mile, per ache or pain, for the whole trip or however you like).  Why am I doing this?  Obviously I enjoy the riding (though after eight hours in the saddle during a rainstorm it loses some of its appeal!) but mainly because the kids whom I'm raising money for are given a chance in life - one that most of us take for granted.  For more information http://www.facebook.com/RideforRussia
