UK 3 Peaks Challenge · 22 June 2019

CRMI provides education for over 300 of the most needy children in rural Uganda. We have built our first school, which opened in 2015. We also provide healthcare through our annual medical missions and networking with local facilities to support those with ongoing disabilities and illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We believe that education is the key to a better future, so we are climbing the National 3 Peaks - Snowden (1085m) in Wales, Scafell Pike (978m) in England, and Ben Nevis (1345m) in Scotland - a total walking distance of 23 miles (37km) and a total ascent of 3064m (10,052ft), with a driving distance of 462 miles.

90% of the money raised by the team on this challenge will go directly to help build the next phase of our school in Bombo, Uganda.  This latest phase will include more classrooms so that the children can continue their education up to P7 as well as student and teacher accommodation.

We have seen first hand how valuable a good education is and what a difference we can make when we work together with a common goal. The school is the hub of the community in Bombo and the ripples of its impact are being felt throughout the town. We want to help support that community grow and flourish and we hope that you will help us too!
