Our friend Hannah has been battling with breast cancer the last few months so we are organising a 24 hour Bon Jovi karaoke event on March 23rd/24th to raise money for the Nottingham Breast Institute and to put a smile on Hannah‘s face (if the singing isn’t too atrocious!).

In June last year Hannah was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer, at the age of only 33. After undergoing chemotherapy for a few months she received the news that the cancer appears to have spread to the brain. Hannah is currently waiting for the next scan on her brain for a more accurate picture of what's happening there (EDIT: see update below).

Despite dealing with the most difficult news, Hannah has been an inspiration to us all. She has drawn up a bucket list and a fundraising event is a part of it so here we are! 

Hannah is a huge Bon Jovi fan so the karaoke will have a theme to it and the man himself even sent her a video message at Christmas. 

The money we raise will be donated to the Nottingham Breast Institute who do great research work as well as looking after patients including Hannah at the Nottingham City Hospital.
