Story
Suicide continues to be a leading cause of death of young people aged 15-24 years. Mental health is a critical topic that needs to be spoken about. Having meaningful conversations gives us the opportunity to reflect on what we can do to support the people we care about, and what we are doing for ourselves when it comes to our own mental health.
On Sunday April 19 I will be running 10km in the QUT Classic, and I am asking for your support and donations to the Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation. ASPF is a volunteer run organisation, with all funding coming from public donations. Their major project this year is the promotion of the programme “You Are Not Alone”, aimed at preventing the suicide of young people. Your efforts will be fully allocated to the development of this critical project.
