Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page again!

Sam and I are dusting off those old padded shorts for another year and making that journey to beloved Brighton. We don't get to see much of the destination because by the time we get there we are too tired and we have to go home again ... but apparently it's all about the journey!

We greatly appreciate all that you have so kindly donated to the British Heart Foundation in the past as it really is a wonderful cause.

Their task is to keep hearts beating. They are the UK's number one heart charity. Through 50 years of funding cutting edge research they have already made a big difference to people's lives.

But the landscape of heart disease is changing. More people survive a heart attack or cardiac arrest than ever before, and that means more people are now living with heart disease and need the BHF's help.

We have not set a huge target this year as we are well aware of everyone's kindness in previous times. However, if you can donate a small something, we would be extremely grateful on behalf of the British Heart Foundation.

As promised before, close-ups of Sam in his shorts will be available in return for your generousity!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much,

Bonnie and Sam xx
