MY STORY
Hi my name is Boo and I am 26.

Last year I found out we were expecting our first baby due January 16th 2018. We were all so excited. I had a smooth pregnancy with no complications. In December 2017 I noticed I had a lump on my neck, I went to the doctor and was admitted for a biopsy which came back abnormal. Second biopsy showed I had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. A couple of weeks later I had an MRI scan which showed I had two masses on my chest, both about the size of an apple. These sit either side of my windpipe. Obviously my family and I were very upset. The doctors reassured me that my baby was ok.
I was then put on a course of steroids to try and reduce the masses to help make delivery of my baby slighter safer for me, unfortunately this didn’t happen. So after many meetings it was decided that on January 1st 2018 I would be admitted to Addenbrooks hospital. After the inducement didn’t work, I made a choice to have a C-Section and had my baby girl Betsy Dora on January 4th 2018 weighing a healthy 8.6lbs.
Since having my baby, I have had a PET/CT scan which has revealed I have Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. I have a start date of Chemotherapy which is Thursday 1st February.

THE REASON FOR MY JUST GIVING PAGE.
I am going to have my hair cut off before I start treatment and donate it to the little princess trust - a charity which provides young children with real hair wigs. I would like it to go to good use rather than slowly loosing it. Along side this I also want to raise as much money for this amazing charity and help these young children, make there journey a little better. As real hair wigs are very expensive. 

Although I am going through chemotherapy myself I feel like there is always someone worse of than yourself, and if I can turn a negative in to a positive I feel it will make my journey a lot easier. So please donate, even if its just £1 and help me make a difference to these young children.
