Story
On 27 April 2019, we will be taking on the mighty Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in the Yorkshire Dales National Park to raise money for Dementia UK. Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support, including one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions, for people with dementia and their families through their Admiral Nurse service.
Our challenge is to hike a circular route of 24 miles (38.6km) and ascend and descend the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough (an incredible 1,585m/5,200ft of ascent) all in under 12 hours!
Our team of 17 are: Sarah Latham, Nigel Stone, Oliver Johnson, Cosima Lowe, Kim Turner, Jane Clay, Jes Woollard, Charlie Hewlett, Rhian Hewlett, Paul Spooner-Lillingston, John Wevill, Hayley Curham, Jevon Adams, Rob Myers, Robert Plowman, Alex Hirst and Rob Jamieson.
