Adam and Malc are on route to Paris!! Via London on a bike..

First time for Adam, but we plan to smash it!

OK, so last year was the first year & what an experience it was, 350 miles – the most hilly ever & at times over 45 degrees… loved every minute! This year, I am doing it again…. The fitness is working out well

& frankly, I have really taken to cycling so I am challenging myself again to help raise money for this great charity

I have some new riders joining me this year, not least of all my
lovely wife Amy who’s new to bikes as she’s a runner mainly – but seeing just how much we raised last year & what a difference this can make – she’s in, along with a few of our friends, each with their own reason & determination for wanting to do this.

So again this year, I am raising money for children’s charity
Action Medical Research, dedicated to improving the health of babies and children.

Hundreds of thousands of children’s lives are devastated by disease and disability. Like Iona who at five was diagnosed with brain cancer,
Tom who has the fatal muscle-wasting condition Duchenne muscular dystrophy or lfie, who has severe cerebral palsy and can’t use his arms or legs and is unable to talk.

Medical research can help children like these but is underfunded
in the UK. For every project Action funds there’s another one they have to turn away – simply because of a lack of funds.

New treatments and cures for sick babies and children are urgently needed.
