Santander colleagues across the UK have joined a global football tournament and will compete for the chance to watch the Champions League Final in Madrid, raising vital funds for Alzheimer's Society.

Story

Hello!

In March 2019 a team from Secretariat will be competing in the Santander
Employee Champions League Cup
, a five-a-side football tournament for
Santander employees to
raise money for charity.

We’ll be playing under name “Bored of Directors” with the following team sheet:

- Manager: Chris Wise

- Team sheet: Aurelia Gibbs, Mpumelelo Gulu, Jason Lee, Dionne Mortley-Forde, Alex O’Brien, Gavin White and Adam Zagajewski

The competition will kick off with our first match at the Powerleague London City “stadium” in Shoreditch, London on 30 March. The winning team will go on to play in the UK Final in Milton Keynes on 25 April, the winner of which will represent Santander UK in the Global Final taking place in May 2019 at the Grupo Santander Head Office in
Madrid.

We’re raising money for Alzheimer’s Society who are Santander’s Charity Partners for 2019-21. Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.

We would be hugely grateful for any donations to help us reach our team donation target of £800!

Thank you very much in advance,it’s really appreciated!

Best wishes,

Bored of Directors
