BOSH fundraiser for The Trussell Trust

Vicki and Becki Fong is raising money for Trussell

BOSH fundraiser for The Trussell Trust · 19 October 2022

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the BOSH Fitness JustGiving page in support of the The Trussell Trust.

Why The Trussell Trust...

Rising energy prices, food bills, fuel costs and more. We’re all experiencing them. But for people on the lowest incomes, the cost of surviving this crisis is too high.

Winter saw people having to make impossible decisions between heating and eating. And, as it stands, this winter will be unbearable for thousands of families.

  • Many people can’t afford to buy food due to huge price rises and inflation
  • Some food banks are having to provide cold food because people can no longer afford to heat meals
  • School holidays mean no free school meals for many children

Our vision is for a UK without the need for food banks. We say this because it’s not right that anyone cannot afford their own food. That’s why we are working towards a just, compassionate future, where no one should have to use a food bank to get by. Our vision is ambitious, but we know that if we work together it is possible. We can create a future where nobody goes hungry, because nobody will allow it – when we work Together for Change. #TogetherForChange

BOSH Fitness was established by two sisters, Becki and Vicki, who wanted to help their community in the challenging times of COVID-19. They deliver free exercise classes to support their community and this fundraiser is provided as an opportunity for the BOSH Community to spread some of the positive community spirit.
