Story

Bosom Pals Southend Support Group are a voluntary, non-profit making organisation, who work closely with the breast care nurses at Southend Hospital.  We also attend the ATMO (After Treatment Moving On) meetings held by the nurses, for those signed off after treatment.

Our group, which meets up on the third Wednesday of every month at The Stables, Chalkwell Park Drive, Leigh on Sea SS9 1LX, from 7pm, has been running for over 30 years. All members have either undergone or are in the process of receiving treatment at local hospitals.

At a time when you can feel overwhelmed and very lonely, we offer a cup of tea, a friendly ear, encouragement and, overall, lots of laughter.

We also have an active Facebook Group (Bosom Pals Southend Support Group) which is a private group, open only to members, where you will find friendship, support and a comforting word when needed.
