Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2018 our success on the pitch was overshadowed by personal issues off of it.
Fan favourite and Scouse superstar, Pete, broke the news that his mum had been diagnosed with leukaemia. The news shocked the team, especially with manager, Nathan, who had fought cancer himself in 2015.
Immediately, we began thinking of ways we could fundraise. After seeing the amazing work, Blood Cancer UK are doing with research, we decided to raise both money and awareness around, what we believe to be a special cause.
Not only will we be wearing their logo on our new kits for many at Hackney Marshes to see, we will be doing different types of fundraisers such as events, quizzes and fitness challenges.
We are asking for friends, family, fans or just people who come across this page and read our story – please donate. Whether it be a penny or a pound, every little helps in the battle to beat cancer.
