Working to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for all those affected by heart rhythm disorders.

Story

On Sunday 16th  September 2018, Boston Scientific employees, Arrhythmia Alliance, and associates will be racing in one of three cycling routes at the Ludlow Cycling Festival to raise money for an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

AEDs are used to deliver life-saving shocks during Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), a serious a life-threatening medical emergency whereby the heart function ceases, abruptly and without warning.

The chances of surviving SCA decrease by 7-10% with every minute that passes without a life-saving shock and that is why we're striving to make local communities heart safe.
