Our family wanted to do something together to raise money for Reach the Children UK, we have two teams competing as a relay in the London Triathlon on August 8! Ray and Anthony are cycling, Nathan and Jack are swimming and Kylie and Jenn are running!

Our fundraising efforts will go to two exciting and much needed projects. First, Shelter for grandmothers in Luwero, Uganda. These grandmothers are involved in our 'Grandmothers Garden' project. They  were given a small piece of land to grow food for their family.  Out of the 30 grandmothers involved, 5 desperately need new shelter. The total cost for this project is only £2,355.00, a small amount that will change the lives of many! 

The second is a Water and Sanitation project in Nagojje, Uganda. The project includes; spring conservation, rain water harvesting and permanent latrines with hand washing stations in schools. 

The primary schools have a dropout rate of 67% due to water related diseases so your donation will bring greater education as well as greater Health to the children in Nagojje. 

Reach the Children UK has always focused on empowering individuals, families and communities through self reliance.
