BOUNDS GREEN SINGERS FUND RAISING FOR NORTH LONDON HOSPICE

We are a local group of singers and musicians who have been raising funds for the last 20 years in support of the North London Hospice in memory of a Bowes Primary School parent who was cared for by the hospice at the end of his life.

Every Christmas we sing at Bounds Green or Arnos tube station. This year, due to Covid, we are not able to make live music and raise funds in the usual way. But charities like the North London Hospice still urgently need our support.

We know that times are hard for many but please donate if you are able. Even as little as £1 will help support the Hospice’s work.

We are not able to offer live music this year, but we are running a free online workshop for anyone who would like to learn to make musical Christmas tree decorations. Email for more information: l.nooshin@city.ac.uk

Information about the hospice and it’s vital work:

North London Hospice cares for patients with a life-limiting illness and
supports their families, friends and carers too. Each year we care for over 2,500 patients in the communities of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey and at our Inpatient Unit in Finchley.

We are an independent charity and provide all our care free of charge. It
costs £13 million to run our services each year, and with just 40% of our
funding provided by the NHS, we rely on the generosity of our local community to fund our work.

£15 funds an inpatient bed for 1 hour

£20 provides a TENS machine

£50 will pay for equipment for a nurse to care for people at home for one week

£90 will pay for a day’s worth of travel for our community teams visiting
patients at home

£125 will fund one of our nurses for a day
