We are looking for your help. clan supports people in the North- East of Scotland and the Northern Isles going through their cancer journey with physical, psychological, and financial help at this most difficult time in their lives. There are thought to be over 3 million people in the UK currently living with cancer.

We are a group of three friends who want to repay clan for the support they have given to one of us and the wider community with help from our wider circle of friends, family and the Bowling community. We all know someone who has had cancer and the support clan can give to not only the person who has been diagnosed but also their family and friends. It is ever more important in these economic scary times.

We plan on having a BOWLS UP for clan event on the 30th June/1^st July  at Ellon Bowling Club. This will consist of a 24hr bowlathon alongside other fundraising ideas to make as much money as possible. Every hour 2 of our rinks of players will play against 2 donating pledged rinks whilst 4 players rest. Each player will try to play for 16 hours. Our team of 14 ( twelve plus 2 subs) will be announced soon as will booking procedure for the day.

 We hope to get paper coverage and we have a facebook page advertising for all our supporters. Alongside the bowls we will have an auction and raffle. Auction lots will be advertised on our facebook page nearer the time of the event
