Story
Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our friend and colleague Tade and a few of her friends will be travelling to Kigali, Rwanda on the 21st of November, 2013 for 9 days to set up a library and build homes for widows and orphans who survived the great tragedies of the 1994 genocide in which over 1 million people were murdered.
Their group will be partnering with a local charity there, Solace Ministries,www.solacem.org, and their goal is to raise a total of £16,000. To show support for this fantastic initiative, Paul, Trevor and I thought it would be a ‘delightful idea’ to submit ourselves to 103miles of pain, competing in the Box Hill Epic Cycle challenge.
Even if it is only a few pounds, we are very grateful for any support that you can give. The event will take place on the 13th October 2013.
Thanks very much for your generosity!
Matt Knight, Paul Fenlon and Trevor Chung
