Boydi's MKF Great Canal Walk

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Matt was a fantastic person who's life was taken too soon. He lost his battle against cancer two years ago, aged just 35 to cancer, but spent his last weeks setting up the Matt Kendall Foundation to continue his life's work.
As a youth and community worker he totally believed in the potential of young people and bringing communities together, but was particularly frustrated at how some young people can't get into work or training because of financial disadvantage.
He set up this Foundation to help disadvantaged young people in Birmingham, the city he loved, with small grants to help them get into work by paying for the things most of us take for granted. That can be anything from a set of job-interview clothes right up to money for an essential training course.
The charity is only two years old but is already making a huge difference.
So, in support of the Foundation, in memory of Matt and to get some really good exercise I'm walking between 18 and 26 miles a day for eight days along the Great Union Canal.
This is a huge challenge but I'll do it!
This walk is fully supported by the Matt Kendall Foundation and anyone can either donate or join in the walk and fundraise for themselves. Check out www.themattkendallfoundation.org/greatcanalwalk
