Thank you for logging in. I hope you can help.
Terapia's vision is exciting, our task enormous. We aim to establish a centre of excellence for child and family psychotherapy available for those who need it locally, with a view to replicate this model and ultimately provide a national network of centres.
This is a local plan with a national vision. In North London we wish to establish our first centre of best practice.
We have located an ideal building to renovate and convert for our first Terapia Centre. It is an exciting opportunity to work within a Victorian Gothic Castle, a folly which was left by Henry (‘Inky’) Stevens for the community of Finchley.
Outwardly a stunning Grade II listed building, internally we intend to create a therapeutic environment purpose built for services.
Once established Terapia Centre will be self-funding. Day-to-day running costs will be met by a synergistic link with Terapia Training. We need to raise a one-time sum of £1 million in order to restore the Bothy and build a state of the art facility for families, children and young people. This will comprise of play therapy rooms, a sensory room, family assessment rooms, and chill out/group work facilities for teenagers.
As CEO of Terapia, this page is intended to help me achieve my personal aim of contributing £10,000 towards the Bothy project. So please click in those numbers, dig deep and thanks a lot. Thanks a million...
