BPR Contract Furniture have selected Air Ambulance NI as their chosen charity for the year 2020. 

This fantastic charity is particularly close to our hearts as our Marketing Manager's father Peter was involved in a serious road traffic collision in November 2018 and without the air ambulance's pre-hospital critical care would not have survived. 

Peter sustained life threatening injuries including abdominal injury and multiple broken bones in his spine, arms, legs, ribs and pelvis. The HEMS team were able to provide the very best pre-hospital care and deliver Peter safely to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. If a patient reaches hospital within the golden hour (60 minutes after their injury) their chances of survival are significantly increased. 

After six months in hospital, multiple operations and intensive physiotherapy to learn to walk again, Peter is now home and making great progress.

BPR Contract Furniture are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity through a variety of fundraising events and initiatives over the course of the year.
