To coincide with the Manchester 10k the children will be participating in a sponsored run on Friday 20th May. The children will see how many laps they can run in 10 minutes. There will be prizes for each year group for the children who run the most laps and raise the most funds.

50% of proceeds will go towards new sports equipment in school.

50% of proceeds will go towards the school ICT fund. Digital literacy, the effective and creative use of ICT, is key to developing the skills for learning, life and work needed by young people in the modern world. Our school will find new ways of thinking about how to use ICT so that it is at the heart of teaching and learning - not using computers to do the same things more efficiently, but changing the process of learning through digital media itself.
