SSNAP support sick newborn, their parents and those that care for them; by providing emotional, medical, financial and informational support.

SSNAP was founded in 1982 and has supported the Newborn Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital ever since. The unit can care for up to 56 babies at any one time and is a Level 3 Centre, the most sick and premature babies from across the Thames Valley, are looked after here in Oxford.

Today our boy Marley Bert Taylor-Riley would of been 9 months old, sadly at 2 days old he passed away. He was too perfect for this world.

Marleys entrance to the world was complicated but due to the amazing staff at the JR Oxford we got to spend two amazing days with him which made us parents. Their work and dedication they put in is amazing and so I am running the Oxford Half to raise funds for snapp

Not a moment passes that we don't think about Marley and I hope to do him proud.
