Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

This year it will have been a mere ten years since I last did an officiated run – the Orpington High Elms 10K on 12th June, 2016. Since then I have done the Couch to 5K a few times but my knees don’t like the running bit! However, in July 2026 it will be ten years since my dad died and it will be his eightieth birthday, so I am running in memory of my wonderful dad by fundraising for Parkinson’s’ UK.

The run will be the Saucony London 10K on Sunday July 12, 2026, with a route past iconic landmarks like Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and more.
