ADHD Embrace is a charity supporting parents and professionals who live and work with children and young people with ADHD. 5% of the population have ADHD and early intervention and support can change the outcome of a child’s life. For two decades, we have worked to ensure that children with ADHD are understood, supported and thrive.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 13th October I will be attempting to run the Sheffield City 10k at Rother Valley Country Park. For those who have known me for a long time, you will be aware this is no small undertaking for me.

I will be running to raise funds for ADHD Embrace - a charity dedicated to supporting parents and professionals who live and work with children and teens with ADHD. They offer a variety of services, including specialist seminars, free workshops, subsidized parenting courses, and a resource library. Their goal is to ensure that children with ADHD are understood, supported, and able to thrive.

As someone who recently received a late diagnosis of ADHD, the mission and values of this charity are close to my heart, and I want to raise some funds to help them achieve their aims of promoting awareness of ADHD (in schools and local communities), and empowering those with ADHD and their families through education and practical support.

Wish me luck!
