Jeremiah’s Journey, provides compassionate support & guidance to children, families & adults bereaved as children, who are navigating the difficult journey of grief. In offering support services & promoting awareness, we aim to be a beacon of light in the darkest moments. My grief, My way.

Story

I’m fundraising for Jeremiah’s Journey, a Plymouth-based charity that supports children and young people experiencing grief and loss, providing vital help when it’s needed most.

I’ve been fortunate to qualify for both Boston and London, and I’ve chosen to use these races to raise money for a cause that matters.

Over the following weeks, I’ll be taking on:

Boston Marathon - 20th April

London Marathon – 26th April

Saltash Half Marathon – 3rd May

Plymouth Half Marathon – 17th May

Dartmoor Discovery (32 miles) – 7th June

Whilst I’ve been running for over 20 years, I'd never run a marathon. However, in the last three years I’ve pushed myself further. During that time, I’ve completed 20 marathons and endurance events, and on 20th April I’ll be running the Boston Marathon — my 21st.

This cause is very close to home for me, and I know first-hand the impact that grief can have on young people and their families.

If you’re able to support, it will help young people and families access the care they need during difficult times.

If you wish to track me at Boston you can download the BAA app and my bib number is 24537.

For London you can download the London Marathon 2026 app and my bib number is 15315
