Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

In March 2026, myself and Kiera will be taking part in the 5K to raise money for Alzheimer’s Scotland, a charity that means so much to me. My Nana is living with dementia, and watching someone you love slowly change because of this cruel disease is heartbreaking. On top of that, I work with people who live with dementia every day, and I see first-hand the impact it has not only on them, but on their families too. Dementia takes so much away, and right now, there is no cure. That’s why I want to do my bit – to help raise money so that Alzheimer’s Scotland can continue their incredible work in supporting families, funding research, and fighting for a future where dementia no longer steals the people we love. This challenge is for my Nana, and for every family who knows how painful dementia can be. Any donation, big or small, will mean the world and help make a real difference 💜 Thank you so much for your support.
