🏃♂️ I’m Running the Saucony London 10K for The Psoriasis Association – Help Me Make a Difference! 🩵
This year, I’m proud to be taking on the Saucony London 10K to raise funds for The Psoriasis Association—a charity that means a great deal to me personally, because I live with psoriasis.
What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a long-term immune condition that causes red, flaky, and often painful patches of skin. It affects over 2 million people in the UK, and for those of us who live with it, it’s much more than just a skin issue. It can impact confidence, daily comfort, and even mental health.
Psoriasis is not contagious, but it can be deeply isolating.
Around 1 in 3 people with psoriasis may also develop psoriatic arthritis, which causes joint pain and stiffness.
There is currently no cure, but research and support—like that provided by The Psoriasis Association—can make a life-changing difference.
Why I’m Running
As someone who manages this condition every day, I want to do something positive—to raise awareness, to support others, and to contribute to the search for better treatments and ultimately, a cure. The Psoriasis Association has been a source of knowledge and community for so many of us, and this run is my way of giving back.
If you’re able, please consider sponsoring my 10K run. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund support services and vital research.
Thank you for reading and for supporting this cause close to my heart.
