Story
Running and getting outdoors has been instrumental in improving my mental health at times when I have been struggling. I have enjoyed setting myself goals and having succeeded in a few 10k runs (see pic above with my brother!), I have now gone wild and rather optimistically signed myself up to run over double that in October...
I am doing this to raise money for a local Oxford charity called Response. Whilst exercise may be good for my mind and body, it is far easier said than done. I am so grateful for the people I have around me looking out for me and looking after me, encouraging me to keep moving. Response are a charity providing that support for many people in Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Buckinghamshire. Over 500 adults and young people depend on them for mental health support and a safe place to call home. I would love to be able to raise money for them, at the same time as pushing my body to achieve something which may or may not be possible!
