Story
Hi I'm Henry, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 19th February my brother-in-law Owen died from a very rare, aggressive form of cancer called NUT carcinoma. This disease affects an estimated incidence of less than one per million people globally. Tragically he was only 33 years old when he died, and is survived by my sister Heidi and her two children. As a family we are deeply shocked and saddened with our loss.
In memory of Owen I am running the Oxford Half Marathon and raising money for the wonderful charity that is Sobell House Hospice. Sobell House Hospice were absolutely brilliant in looking after my brother-in-law, the work they do there is invaluable and they made the transition from life to death as peaceful as it could be for Owen.
Please donate whatever you feel you can, it can really make a difference to people's lives.
Thank you,
Henry.
