Story
Hi all,
Thank you very much for making your way to my fundraising page.
On August 1st, 2024, my partner Jon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. Since then, we’ve been fighting together—through treatments, uncertainty, and moments of deep courage.
This year, I’m running in the Ottawa Tamarack Half Marathon Run to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society, in honour of Jon and everyone affected by cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society funds life-saving research, provides vital support services, and advocates for better outcomes for patients and families across Canada.
Every step I take is for Jon—and for the hope that one day, no one will have to hear the words “you have cancer.” Your donation will help fuel that hope.
Whether you contribute financially or share this page, your support means the world to us. Thank you for standing with us in this fight.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Frank
