I have participated in many Endure24 events as a team member and have reached a point where I wanted to put the amazing experience towards a worthy cause and raise awareness for those who need it.

I have chosen to partner with Young Lives vs Cancer as a SOLO entry this year because as a parent of two I simply cannot comprehend what the families of young patients go through and it felt right to me that of others can endure the process of such an evil disease then I can endure 24hrs of clocking up miles!

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, they help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but they can’t do it without you.

I will be participating in Endure 24 Reading on the 7th - 8th June 2025 which is a trail course set in the heart of Wasing Park.

The goal - To complete as many 8km (5 mile) laps as possible within 24 hours!
