My mum was an exceptional woman, a woman who fought tooth and nail through her cancer to stay with us. Her sheer stubbornness and willpower meant she got to be here for the first six months of my daughter’s life and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Her time in the hospice was something I will never forget. The kindness given to my mum and our family is etched into my soul in a life changing way.

Saying goodbye to mum was the most difficult thing I have ever done, but the support of everyone at the hospice made it time I could cherish.
