Hi y’all! As many of you know, I’ve been involved with Operation Smile throughout my whole life and have worked full time for the organization since graduating in 2024. I get to work with students from 40 different countries and have traveled to Peru and Madagascar- with Bolivia and Thailand coming up in the next few months! I love my job and the impact this organization makes.

Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft condition, and many families around the world don’t have access to the safe surgery they need. Without surgery, kids often struggle with speech, nutrition, and sometimes even attending school due to fear of bullying. For as little as $240, and in as few as 45 minutes, Operation Smile can provide transformational surgery to children around the world.

Operation Smile has partnered with JandA’s Shamrock Race Weekend since 2008. I ran the Operation Smile Final Mile every year in elementary school, so it only feels right to upgrade to the 8K! On March 21st, I’ll be running my second 8K in support of Operation Smile.
