Story
For the third year in a row, I’ll be running in aid of charities that helped my Dad and could help people in similar situations in the future. In February 2023, we got the worst news - Dad had gliobastoma, and aggressive form of brain cancer, and had a matter of months left. In October 2023, we lost him. In his final months, Macmillan were there to support us and him as daily life became tough. The help they provide is invaluable, so this year Macmillan is my chosen charity to put my body through its paces for. I know I love running anyway, but fundraising for such important charities makes the tough moments in a race bearable, and running has been my therapy. If you have any spare pennies, they would be gratefully received and the money put to good use supporting families through the toughest of times. Thanks in advance for your support ❤️
