On 16th September 2018, after 24 months, our best friend, Aidan lost his battle with cancer.

After 15 years of friendship we can confidently say that he is one of the bravest, most positive, funny, and caring people we’ve ever met. I’m sure anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting him would agree.

We are running the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October 2025 to raise money for Sobell House Hospice Charity as a thank you for taking such good care of Aidan during his final weeks of his life.

Sobell House is an Oxford based hospice who provide the highest level of palliative and end of life care to those in need. Trusts and Foundation funding are vital for Sobell House and they rely heavily on the generosity of the public to ensure they can continue to provide such incredible care.
