Hi everyone,

 Me and my Mum have donated 13” and 15” of our hair to the Little Princess Trust!

I really wanted to do something to help people and what an amazing way to do it while supporting The Little Princess Trust! This amazing charity is set up in remembrance of Hanna Tarplee by her parents.

The Little Princess Trust creates wigs for FREE for children and young adults that have lost their hair through cancer treatments or other conditions . The wigs are 100% made of hair donations from the kind public.The hair is expertly blended and made exactly for each young person. The special network of salons and wig fitters do a great job to create, cut, style and help the children look after their wigs. As the wigs are real hair, they can be straightened and curled. This is amazing for these young people's confidence and mental health.

The Little Princess Trust also supports research into kinder treatments for children with cancer.

It takes 10-12 ponytails to make one wig

£150 pays for a professional wig fitting

£550 provides a young person with a wig

£1,000 can buy new drugs for testing 

£10,000 measures long-term effects of drugs on children

£30,000 identifies drugs which minimise side-effects on children 

As you can see, the Little Princess Trust needs money donations as well as hair donations.

 I kindly ask you to sponsor me and my Mum. The positive effects it will have on children who have lost their hair through illness, is priceless.
