This year sees the 30th anniversary of the Bradford City fire which remains today the worst fire disaster in the history of English football. The fire broke out during the last game of the season between Bradford City and Lincoln City and claimed the lives of 56 people and injured more than 265.

As a mark of respect and to raise money for two very good causes I will be running 56 miles around the Fylde Coast. My route will take me from Highbury (home of Fleetwood Town Football club) to Deepdale (Preston Football club) to Bloomfield road home to the seasiders (Blackpool Football club) before returning to Fleetwood.

I intend to complete the run on the 30th anniversary of the fire (11.05.15) and hope to complete it within a 14hr timeframe and as I have mentioned I am hoping to raise money for two great charirities; the BCFC and Donna's Dreamhouse (please see the links for both charities).
