In 2013 I tragically and very suddenly lost my mum to bacterial meningitis. Up until that point I had limited knowledge of this terrible infection and how fatal it can be. 

I am running the 2024 London Marathon in my mum's memory because I want to help Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia.
