Story
Our best friend and all round amazing dude Neasan Daly passed away in October of this year - in his honour, and in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support we are completing the 2021 Lake District Mighty Hike in June of next year.
In 2017 Neasan was diagnosed with incurable cancer of an unknown primary. He lived his life to it's max fighting every step along the way and is a huge inspiration to all of us. He was truly the kindest, funniest & most caring bloke and we are all feeling his loss.
We want to honour his memory, and know he would absolutely cry with laughter watching us complete this hike.
We hope to raise money in Neasan's name to help those in need, and the work Macmillan Cancer Support does makes a huge difference to the lives of many people during an immensely difficult time - if you can, please donate as little or as much as you are able to.
Grace, Neasan's amazing partner is also completing the hike along with their uni friends and you can read more about Neasan's story, or donate to their page, here: http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamneasanlakedistrict21
Thank you - and if anybody has any advice for somebody completing their first fitness challenge who also has non existent calf muscles, please get in touch.
We love you Neas.
