Brain and Spine Mongol Rally Fundraising Page

The Mongol Rally · 16 July 2017
The Brain and Spine Foundation is celebrating its 25th birthday with the Mongol Rally at the centre of its anniversary fundraising events. These adventurous five young men in their two tiny cars, Brain and Spine will travel over 10,000 miles from Goodwood to Siberia and devote five weeks of their lives, half a year between them, to raising money for this superb cause.
Their cars are fully funded, their expenses all covered and so every penny you donate, every pound of sponsorship, will go directly to the invaluable work the Foundation does on behalf of the victims of neurological disorders, their families and their carers.
The charity provides a unique telephone Helpline providing information and support to the victims and families of neurological disorders. Staffed by a team of neurological nurse specialists this same team provides countless individuals with additional online support. They publish an extensive array of information and support literature all delivered free.
In addition the Foundation funded invaluable research into brain tumours, brain haemorrhage and head injury. Current professor of neurosurgery at Cambridge has his original work identified and funded by the brain and spine foundation.
It may surprise you to know that there are 3 million victims of neurological disorders in the United Kingdom alone. These disorders kill and maim more individuals than do either heart disease or cancer. The Brain and Spine Foundation provides an indispensable service and is the Country's only national charity covering this field.
Receiving no government money it is entirely dependent upon the generous donation of others. As one of its founders I implore you to support these fine young men in their commitment to the Foundation and the often so troubled individuals who rely on its invaluable work. Please, donate as generously as you can possibly afford and if you are in a position to sponsor the team do that too!
Help the Brain and Spine Foundation change lives.
